The Lakes Shopping Center has a skating rink during the holidays. It has pretty lights and decorations. We were there last night and although tempted to ice skate, it was too cold! That didn't deter others, though.

ReplyDeleteThe term 'inner city suburb' is used to describe the suburbs immediately surrounding or close to, the central business district. They are mostly older suburbs that tend to have high density housing, narrower streets and laneways. We tend to call the central business district 'the city' and have a lot of general terms to describe the suburbs around them, although none have been officially designated. These include inner city, inner west, eastern suburbs, north shore, northern beaches, greater western Sydney etc.
